After Joomla! he fell in love with WordPress and never left. Eric worked his way up to become CEO of his own company, thanks to countless hours spent in front of a computer doing what he loves.

Matthew Knighton

Matthew Knighton has 20 years experience in software development, and has been developing product and process in his current business for the past three years. He is interested in making apps people use, education online and making a difference in the world via technology and relationships. Best known as the creator of the Divi Framework, he is passionate about the freedom the internet provides businesses and people all around the world. His current firm is M R K Development Pty Ltd.

Varun Sharma

Varun is the Founder & CEO at Tech Banker – A Premium WordPress Plugin Development Firm based out of Chandigarh, India – The City Beautiful.

Apart from an entrepreneur, he is a travel enthusiast and loves traveling across the globe with his family. He loves Punjabi food, and is a proud father of 2 cutest kids.

He started his journey for entrepreneurship in the year 2009 and had a privilege of providing services to Xerox GmbH. His WordPress journey began in 2010 when he started using WordPress for his own organization’s website.

On a day around 10th March 2012, he was looking for a gallery plugin to build a portfolio for one of his startup venture and he didn’t find anything which was up to the standards he was expecting.

Taleha Khan

Taleha Khan is a TEDx speaker, software test engineer, and star blogger from Dehli. At The Ohh-So-Me Blog, she pens her views on versatile topics from food, beauty, and lifestyle, to books, DIYs, and technology. Some of her other projects include Delhi Food Walks and RJ with Radio Masala. Taleha was the Panel Keynote Speaker at Delhi’s biggest bloggers meet, organised by Markitiers in 2017; she was also a speaker at WordCamp Nashik, just last weekend.

Nadzrul Hanif Nadzer

Nadzrul Hanif is the co-founder of Mindtrick. He has developed tons of WordPress websites over many years. Hanif is an expert in WooCommerce, and has been using the plugin since before it was acquired by Automattic. Knowing where the future is, he has always been a big believer in WordPress!

Niels Lange

Niels Lange is a Happiness Engineer at Automattic. His first contact was with WordPress 2.0 in 2005. After years of abstinence, he rediscovered WordPress 4.0 in 2014. Since then he has been 100% committed to serving clients with custom-built websites, as well as contributing to the global WordPress community. He’s been a translation contributor and a plugin contributor since 2015, and spreading Happiness at Automattic since mid-2017.

Leonardo Losoviz

Leonardo Losoviz is the creator of PoP, an open source framework based on WordPress for building progressive web apps, decentralized websites and social networks. He is currently busy sharing the framework with the community, attending as many WordCamps as he possibly can, given how much money is still left in his pocket (not much).

Ang Gee Guan

Ang Gee Guan is currently Chief Technology Officer of IDOSPA Sdn Bhd. Ang is a WooCommerce expert who will share how his firm tackles the security and speed issues that most people find when running a full pack of feature plugins.

Dasun Edirisinghe

Dasun Edirisinghe hails from Sri Lanka, and is obsessed with WordPress. He started to use WordPress from version 3.1 (2011), and it soon became his hobby, passion, and career. He is the founder of the WordPress Colombo Meetup, Chief Organizer of the first ever WordCamp held in Sri Lanka, WordCamp Colombo, and contributes to the WordPress Sinhala Translation in his spare time. Dasun is Working as Lead Designer and CXO of WordPress development agency CeylonDevs. He loves to read books and explore the hidden things in Sri Lankan history.

David Wang

David Wang helps busy bloggers and small business owners be awesome with WordPress. He is the Chief Caretaker at ClickWP. Completely self-taught, he loves to tinker with WordPress sites, especially those built with the Genesis theme framework. He has conducted workshops and talks about WordPress and is proud to have been one of the inaugural speakers at WordCamp Malaysia 2010. He is so grateful to WordPress and tries to give back to the community in any way that he can.

Purnendu Dash

Purnendu is an open source developer by passion. This passion gave him the high to became the founder of WC Marketplace amongst his other ideas. He cares for his customer the most, because most of his ideas have come after having some intense dialogues with them. And he believes in going beyond the technology and providing his customers a practical solution for his or her business.

He started working with WordPress in 2008. The journey started with a theme development, then moved on to other areas like hooks & filters. Now WordPress made him an enthusiast entrepreneur leading an entire entourage of ‘Digital Age’ that services in anything WordPress, Moodle and Internet Marketing.

Though he has a Master’s degree in Computer Applications, he still considers himself a student who explores the media and the web to feed himself with anything geeky, ‘economicky’ and ‘businessy’. He might not sound that rabid here to say that – “Feel free to get in touch and we might end up having a cup of Indian tea or travel to Ladakh”. Syafrizal Sharif

As the Founder of Brand Chapter Agency, Syaf manages the creation of products and services that meet the needs of clients. Prior to Brand Chapter, Syaf held several IT and communications positions for companies including Nextnation Communication, Ada Vista and Fonterra Brands Malaysia. Professionally, Syaf has developed websites since 2004. Now he manages a team of 2 developers and a designer.

His contribution to the web development industry as a panelist for the development of 2012 Nasional Occupational Skills Standard in Web Development was recognized by Department of Skills Development Malaysia & MDeC and Syaf was awarded with Advanced Diploma Skills Malaysia (DLKM) Level 5 through accreditation of prior achievement.

Edwin Masripan

Edwin Masripan has been developing websites on WordPress since 2008 via his company Laman7. He had worked in corporate sales, developing new strategies to cut through today’s IT market. Eventually, he went back to his passion: building websites.

Lincoln Islam

Lincoln Islam is the Founder & Visionary of Coderex Ltd, which gives web designers access to a scalable team of resources without the need to hire employees. Lincoln and his team have worked with clients big and small, from all over the world, delivering top notch services. Lincoln has over seven years of experience with Open Source projects and contributing them actively. While he is making a living using open source to create and sell products, Lincoln has a dream to make a significant impact on the employment rate in Bangladesh, where he lives.

Cherry Sireetorn Prommawin

Cherry Prommawin is a Search Quality Analyst at Google Asia Pacific, ensuring good quality of organic search results, and specializing in web spam and webmaster relations for South East Asian countries. Prior to this, Cherry was a Senior Online Specialist and a Subject matter expert focusing on non-search products such as Google Analytics, Google My Business, Merchant Center and Google AdWords. Though Cherry is originally from Thailand, she has been in living in Singapore for close to 10 years

Iszuddin Ismail

Iszuddin Ismail is the Lead Developer at Xentral Methods, the creators of E-Sentral.com. He has been a continuous user of WordPress since 2005, with experience in theme and plugin development.
